HP Performance Coach & Men’s Head Coach
For the 2023 season coach Matt represented and was selected as the national touring coach for the world student games, representing South African as team head coach during the student games taking place in China.

Coach Matt offers 16 years coaching experience, in which he started as a grass roots coach in Johannesburg in 2007. Working his way up to being a high performance coach through dedication and a passion to grow and develop players to their highest potential.
Being a part of the Sinnet ITA team from 2015, from an academy coach to becoming the head coach in 2018. Coach Matt has worked with and development numerous players over the year and had players go onto represent colleges in the United States, being top representatives in the country. Matt has worked with Top Nationals players and Jnr. ITF players also assisting at times with players playing on the WTA and ATP tour.
As a coach Matt offers an ethos of pushing players past their norms while retaining a sense of mental stability within the game, creating high performance players with the all-round game to make the next level.
